Getting Around Nottingham
Nottingham has recently put a city centre tram system in place and most of the city centre is now so getting around by foot at night is the best option. For any journey outside of the city centre then taxis will probably be the most convenient way around. The City Square and Lace Market areas are easily walkable and as most of our hotels are in these areas getting out at night is simple! Nottingham is up there with Newcastle, Edinburgh and Bristol when it comes to hen weekend nightlife. Nottingham has a large student population which has attracted a lot of weekend visitors and led to a rise in the number of trendy bars, pubs and clubs in the city. The City Square, the trendy Lace Market area and Hockley are the current 'in' places featuring popular bars and clubs - all great for a hen night out and all close together. Nottingham is also home to one pub that is a contender for England oldest pub - worth a visit! Nottingham has two main shopping centres and in 2010 was the sixth in the list of UK's retail spend behind London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool!  The Victoria Centre boasts main stores such as John Lewis, House of raser, Boots, Next Topshop, Monsoon and many more.  The City Centre is a bustling shopping area but many major brands have moved out to the Victoria Centre just a 5 minute walk away. For more obscure designer shop then there is the Bridlesmith Gate area home to designer stores such as Paul Smith, Riess and Kurt Geiger. For the alternative shopper a visit to Hockley Village or Lace Market areas will Provide some local gems!

Getting to Nottingham
By Air
Nottingham is served by East Midlands Airport, one of the UK's largest. Nottingham is linked by Skylink bus service who run coaches every 30 minutes to the city for aprox £5 for a single ticket. The journey takes around 30 minutes.

By Train
Nottingham's Train Station is just a short 5 minute walk to the city centre. Nottingham is on the main line out of London St Pancras and has good connections from Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Derby and Leicester. 

By Road
Nottingham is the prefect location for groups spread across the uk with great road link. From the south exit the M1 at junction 24 or 25 and follow signs to Nottingham city centre. From the North exit M1 at junction 25 or 26 and again follow signs to centre.

Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Inn - Whilst on your Nottingham Hen Weekend why not visit one of the oldest pubs in the land tracing it's existance back over 800 years. Charming, well worth the vist and a beer or two!
