Arsenal forward Walcott confirms engagement

The Arsenal squad can start forming their tactics for a stag weekend away trip next season - winger Theo Walcott has gotten engaged to girlfriend Melanie Slade.
And after seven years together, the young couple have had plenty of time to formulate the perfect hen and stag weekend ideas.
The pair have been dating since they were both 15, but it wasn't until New Year's Eve that the 22-year-old forward plucked up the courage to get down on one knee.
While the couple are notoriously private, the news was revealed as Ms Slade's diamond engagement ring is impossible to miss.
According to the Sunday Mirror, the ring features one huge diamond with two smaller stones either side.
