Getting Around Bournemouth
Bournemouth is not a huge town and once you have arrived at your hotel you will find the town centre easy to navigate on foot. For trips to visit Poole or for nearby activities then taxis are readily available and for journeys to activities slightly further away then minibuses are the most cost effective way to get araound. By Air
Bournemouth is served by Bournemouth International Airport offering a range of short and long haul destinations. The airport is 20 minutes from the town centre and taxis are readily available. There is also a bus service that runs regularly to the town centre.
By Train
Bournemouth's Train Station is just a short 10 minute walk to the town centre. Bournemouth is on the main line out of London Waterloo and has good connections from Reading, Birmingham and Manchester to the North and from Bristol from the west.
By Road
Bournemouth has a few main routes into town. The main route is the A338 which connects to the A31 and the M27 and M3 towards London. There are also connecting roads via the M4 and A34 to the north and the A36 from Salisbury to Bristol in the West.
