Sales Account Manager - Stag & Hen Weekends Department

WHO ARE MAXIMISE
Maximise is a young and exciting company specialising in activity based weekends across the UK and throughout Europe. We are 18 years old and are one the most established companies in our field. We also run www.activitygifts.co.uk, a website that operates in the gift experience market.

WHAT MAXIMISE DO
We organise packaged weekends in the UK and across Europe to include accommodation, exciting activities and nightlife. Our packages also include restaurant bookings, airport transfers and almost anything else our customers would want on their weekends. We work closely with many major hotel chains and enjoy strong relationships with 100's of suppliers.

EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE
This position is ideal for somebody with at least a year (preferably two) sales experience (Recruitment, Media Sales, Telemarketing, Travel Sales, Real Estate, PA or similar). Recent graduates with outgoing personalities and some professional work experience seeking a challenging first job will also be considered.

WHAT DOES THE JOB INVOLVE
All our enquiries come in via e-mail or over the phone so there is no cold calling involved. Upon the initial enquiry the client provides us with an outline idea of the weekend they have in mind, where they want to go and an approximate budget. Our Account Managers discuss various options with the customers and provide advice on what would be most appropriate for them. They then put together and send a proposal via email. After some follow up conversations, and some possible changes, the customer books the weekend and we take the deposit. Following that we book the hotels, activities, restaurants, and nightclubs. We then send the details to the customers and ensure everything runs smoothly up until the group travel.

Maximise aim to provide our customers with a quality, hassle free booking experience. We thrive on repeat business as it's the best barometer of how good the service we provide is, so excellent customer service from our team is essential. Everything needs to run smoothly and flawlessly and the whole weekend should exceed our customer's expectations. For this to happen we need our team to be well organised and have an eye for detail. You will need to be enthusiastic, confident, tenacious and creative. Someone with an excellent telephone manner, personable and with the ability to quickly bond with the customer is essential. The ability to secure the booking in a competitive situation is also important.

OPPORTUNITIES
The role will allow you to be creative and will give you scope to develop our website, its content, our packages and locations. Opportunities to visit locations and enjoy preferential rates for personal travel will also be available to you after a qualifying period.

Web Content and Digital Marketing Assistant

Position:               Web Content and Marketing Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Web Content and Digital Marketing Assistant to join a leading travel company based in Borehamwood, Herts. We are looking to grow our online presence by creating exciting and compelling website content as well as innovative marketing and social media campaigns. You will work alongside the Marketing Executive to support all online product content, email and social media campaigns, updating newsletters and product research. The prime focus of the role is to keep the website constantly updated with product changes, promotions, fresh online content and new products.

What is a Web Content and Digital Marketing Assistant responsible for?

  • Part of a team creating new and interesting web content for our products
  • Updating all existing content and adding new content and products
  • Working with external suppliers and internal sales team to promote products and locations
  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of email and social media campaigns
  • Maintaining existing and developing new relationships with suppliers
  • Assist in the improvement of lead generation and sales conversion


What are we looking for?

  • Well qualified school leaver or graduate with strong English Language, Maths qualifications
  • Marketing qualifications an advantage but not essential
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Must be able to work as part of a team but also in isolation
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
