The data provided from your browser when you visit our website includes; IP address, the HTTP status code, the date, the time, the length of the visit, the pages visited and information about the browser software. The legal basis for collecting and processing this personal data is to be able to run our website and provide you with access to what you want to see and pages you want to visit.
  8. If you connect, or login to your Our MyWeekend Online area with a third party service such Google, LinkedIn or Facebook, that third party may send us information from that service. This information varies and is controlled by that service or as authorised by you via your privacy settings at that third party service.

In any of the above, the data we collect could be personal data. This Personal data includes name, email address and phone number. The legal basis for the collection and processing of this data is the provision to you of the services you have enquired about or that have been purchased by you.

What do we do with your information?

When you enquire or purchase anything via our website, we may need to collect information about you to provide relevant information to you or to process the transaction, fulfil your booking and provide you with the products or services you want. It is important to tell you that card payment details are not held on any Maximise servers but are linked directly to our online Merchant Service providers SagePay.

Unless we have your consent, we will only pass personal data to third parties if it is required for the purpose of completing your transaction with us. We may disclose your data to certain permitted third parties, such as members of our own group, or our professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality codes, and when we are legally obliged to disclose your data.

By making an enquiry or subscribing, you consent to receive from us by e-mail our offer for the requested products/services and details of other special offers which we may think may be of interest to you.

Maximise retains and uses your information throughout the enquiry and booking process to provide you with the best customer experience. We may also use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis.

We do not sell, or pass on your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent.

We will ensure that your personal information is kept confidential and secure, and that the appropriate technical and organisational measures, to prevent unlawful or accidental destruction, accidental loss, unauthorised disclosure or access or other unlawful forms of processing, are in place.

  • Any member of the Maximise group including our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006
  • Selected third parties involved in the provision of the services you have purchased from us including: activity and accommodation providers, transfers suppliers and our destination teams
  • Retargetting networks that require the data to select and provide relevant adverts/promotions. No information about individuals is provided to such networks, but we may provide them with information about our users to target a specific audience
  • Analytics and search engine providers that help Maximise with the improvement and optimisation of our website.

We will only disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, or Maximise is brought by a third party in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
