With plenty of stag do activities like golf, shark fishing and booze cruises as well as plenty of top nightlife crawls down the strip (...or to the strip club) stag weekends in the Algarve send the groom off in style.

Getting around Algarve

The most common way travellers get around Algarve is via rental car.  Rental cars are generally obtained at the airport upon arrival in the area, but it's advised you book one ahead of time to secure the car you want at the price you want. Driving regulations in Algarve are standard in terms of international road rules. Portuguese driving habits can take some getting used to. Be prepared to be 'tailgated' and also for drivers ahead not to signal clearly. Parking can be quite difficult in many towns and several town centres have been closed to visiting road traffic and car parks established on the outskirts. Where there are central car parks, expect to pay about €1 for an hour. Travellers interested in getting around Algarve by other methods do have choices but the bus system in the Algarve is not very comprehensive away from the coastal areas.

Or if you're missing the beach you've been lounging on all day you'll find plenty of bars, clubs and pubs along the coast to kick your night off in.

Things to see in Algarve

Hit the beach: Seems obvious and like the first thing you'd do... but make sure you're not too hungover to enjoy the stunning beaches (and women) the Algarve has on offer.
Catch a shark: There's few things better than kicking back with a beer whilst fishing with the boys for a relaxed stag do. Step it up a notch with shark fishing. Portugal is home to one of the most diverse shark population with hammerheads, whale sharks and white tip sharks all being native to the waters, and even the occasional great white shark passes by.
Tee off: One of our most popular activities for the Algarve, enjoy the sun, a few beers and a round or two of golf. For a stag do where breaking a sweat is not on the agenda!
