Lloret De Mar is the main resort in the Costa Brava, and getting around it is easy! With the central part of the town simple to navigate and everything you need in close proximity to each other - buses also run daily throughout the town and connect all the other resorts in Costa Brava together. This is a simple and cost effective way to get out and explore your surroundings on your last weekend of freedom. The average day ticket will only cost you around £2.50! Taxis are available throughout the resort, both day and night, and provide the perfect mode of transport to get you back to your accommodation after your big night out. The taxis in the Costa Brava are instantly recognisable with a green light illuminated in the windscreen if available for hire.

Things to see in Costa Brava

Take a trip to Barcelona: Barcelona is only 70 km away so it's a great place to visit on your weekend in Spain. There are loads of ways of getting there but the fastest and the cheapest ways are by train or bus.
Water World: Head for a fun day out at Water World, just outside Lloret on the road inland to Vidreres. This is Europe's biggest water park with a host of attractions including a 250 metre long rubber raft ride over steep hills, round sharp bends and through dark tunnels.
Shopping: Lloret de Mar has a wide range of shops selling all sorts of products and articles. After tourism, shopping represents Lloret's second most important economic activity, and with about a thousand different places to visit you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Go to the beach: Beaches such as Lloret, Fenals, Sa Boadella, Santa Cristina or Canyelles make this town the best place for spending your holidays under the sun of the Costa Brava.
