Climate in Zagreb

Much like our other Central European locations, Zagreb's  summers and winters vary massively! If you're looking for some fun in the sun, then Zagreb can reach up to 30C+ in the summer. However, if you're up for a winter break, the city gets a bit nippy, so it might be worth getting a stag jumper, rather than a stag t-shirt!

Getting around Zagreb

Because it's the capital, Zagreb has a very vast network of public transport to take people throughout the dense urban areas all the way to the outskirts. There's no real reason to rent a car when you get there as Zagreb's tram system has been running for over 120 years! With 15 lines running in the day, 4 lines running in the night, hitting over 250 stations, you're guaranteed to get where you want to go! But the best thing about it is the cost. Zagreb's tram service is very well priced and tickets are available from most kiosks and newsagents across the city. Just remember to stamp your ticket as soon as you get on the tram, there's a £16 fine if you get caught with an unstamped ticket! As well as the trams the city offers a huge bus system which can get you from the airport arrivals directly into the city! Not feeling the public transport? Then grab a minicab!
