An awesome city and now one of the hottest destinations for stag groups. Market Square provides some of the best nightlife in Eastern Europe, and with a higher than average female population, you can't help but have a great time! Putting the stunning architecture and cobbled streets aside, Krakow has so many bars, lap clubs and nightclubs in the city centre that the only problem you'll find on a night out is choosing where to go! Which is where we come in, our lovely tour guides know this city inside out and will be happy to show you to a watering hole to suit your tastes... whatever they might be! By day, Krakow has some cracking activities like shooting, zorbing and paintball. As well as some more unique ones like a rabid dog chase, stag arrest or dwarf hire. With a nightlife and activity combo like this it's no wonder Krakow stag weekends are among the best around, and our packages sort the best from the rest including a lovely local guide, a contact number for 24 hour assistance, return airport transfers and a meet and greet at the airport with a nice cold beer. You can't really go wrong in Krakow.

Climate in Krakow

Krakow's winters are vastly different from its summers. Throughout June to September expect the odd heat wave and highs of around 30C. Winter, on the other (gloved) hand, are bitterly cold with snow being pretty much a given between December and March. Whatever the weather, Krakow is brilliant to visit offering both winter wonderland and T-shirt weather.

Getting around Krakow

The old town is very compact so it's easy to navigate on foot. Most of the tourist attractions are in or nearby Market square, so if you fancy seeing the sights... or more likely doing a pub crawl, then your feet will do the trick. Hiring a car in Krakow is ideal if you want to get out of the city and explore, but unnecessary if you're staying in the centre on your stag weekend. Krakow has a a public transport network that would leave London green with envy... and won't rip you off while doing it. Buses and trams run from 5am to 11pm and make getting from A to B simple, day or night. Taxis are the best choice for getting back to your accommodation after a few too many Polish vodkas, but always make sure you hail a registered taxi to avoid dodgy drivers. If you're ever unsure, most pubs and bars will be happy to recommend or call a cab for you, or just ask your lovely tour guide to call you one!

Eating in Krakow

Heavy on the protein, and even heavier on the carbs, heart food is the name of the game in Poland! Gone are the days of Eastern European food with dubious looking goulash served with cabbage, dumplings and some kind of meat, Krakow's restaurant scene has exploded over recent years to become a city renowned for its fantastic food. The city has a mix of both traditional Polish food and international cuisine ranging from Mexican to Italian. If you're only after a quick bite, there's a cafe on every corner and plenty of fast food joints to sort you out, day or night. For those of you who get the post-pub crawl munchies, the kielbasa stands scattered across the city centre are the perfect solution, and won't leave you regretting it in the morning!

Things to see in Krakow

Market Square: In and around the square you'll find some of the most well known sights in Krakow, like the Cloth Hall, the Old Town Hall tower, St. Adalbert's Church and St. Mary's Church.
Auchswitz-Birkenau: About 30 miles west of Krakow, you'll find the infamous Auchswitz concentration camp. Not your typical stag weekend activity, but if the history of WWII fascinates you then there's no better place to go and learn about the holocaust.
Smok's bones: If you're a fan of the mythical or fantasy (or Game of Thrones), go see a dragon's bones, located outside the Wawel Cathedral. Polish legend has it that he lived in the caves underneath the city.
See a match: Polish football fans are known as some of the most devoted and loyal fans in European Football, and luckily for you Krakow is home to two top tier teams! Ask our sales team for fixture listings and they'll be happy to arrange it all for you.

The city was very different to any in England and took a bit to get used to but for what we were there for it was perfect. There was something for all of us to enjoy be it the stripper clubs or night life even the small bars under ground you would never find - it was fantastic. Best part? For me it was going to the shooting range. You cant do what we did there in England. I could of stayed there all day if the boys had let me. Even our rep had a go an she put us all to shame! EPIC fun. Our Maximise rep was simply the best. She could not have been better and was a little gem. If anyone chooses to go here I would say you have to go see Auschwitz and Birkenau, its a must.

The entire weekend was great and much better then expected, the guide was excellent and the activities were well planned and well paced. The accommodation and food was also good and the entire weekend was good value for money. Had the best nights out in amazing locations with good value drinks, with our very helpful and informative guide. She helped keep us away from the dodgy bars and translated for us regularly. Everyone agrees the best part of the weekend was firing the guns on the firing range, which was a great laugh
